Our Policies

Custom Orders

Our custom orders require a minimum of 7 days notice. This is due to the amount of work that goes into creating custom orders.

Forms of Payments

We accept cash, checks made out to Simply Sweet Bakery LLC, and Venmo @simplysweetmolly

Emailing

When emailing or sending a DM request for a quote, please be sure to include the delivery or pick up date and the number of servings you need. This will ensure a more accurate quote, email simplysweet.molly@gmail.com.  Please note, response time might vary.  If you have immediate questions please call or text 570-847-1899.

Quotes

Initial quotes are complimentary; after deposit is made any changes may result in a $15 for design changes.  Order quotes are held from the date of quote or consultation until 14 business days thereafter. If a deposit is not made within those 14 days your quote may become unavailable.  Deposits secure your date.

Order Requirements

There is a minimum order of 1 dozen decorated cupcakes, cake push pops, and cookies (one flavor per dozen).  This will not apply to flash sale items or specific event sales.

Pick up Policy

If local pick up is desired, you will be given a pick up time window.  If you would like to change your pick up time, you must give 24 hour notice. It is very important that you arrive during your scheduled pick up time as we may not be available before or after this time.  

Delivery Policy

We do offer delivery and local meet ups.  Delivery fee is based on location, availability. and set up needs.

Outside Events

Any cake placed outside during an event has the possibility of melting or deforming due to outside temperature and direct sunlight.  Please refer to contract and information given to you. 

Rush Orders

A rush order is considered a 'Rush Order' when booked less than 7 business days prior to the event date.  Rush orders will be accepted when possible and will incur a Rush Fee of $20 or more depending on the complexity of the design. Rush orders must be paid in full at time of order.

Canceling an Order

To cancel a custom order, we require 2 weeks notification.  If a cancellation is received after the cancellation deadline, the 50% non-refundable deposit will be forfeited.

Transporting

You are responsible for transporting your cake home safely and we are not responsible once an order leaves our premises. Cakes are fragile and can be damaged during transport or if driving in severe weather... please use good judgment.  Cakes should NEVER be placed on seats.  Place them on the floorboard of the vehicle so that they are level.
